The advantage of staying on these main roads is that, during a road trip on the Amalfi Coast, you'll avoid the narrow streets of the village. Staying here also means you'll be able to get to the Sentiero dei Diritti, one of the most popular hikes for tourists. And if you're staying in this area, there's a flight of stairs that will take you to the beaches and the center on foot!
You'll also find plenty of places to stay. Rates are generally high, however, as hotels generally boast spectacular views and top-of-the-range amenities.
